The terms that apply when you browse, register, or place an order on Lizimas Store.
Lizimas Store is an online retail platform operating in Uganda at lizimasstore.com, registered with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) as a sole proprietorship. We sell products directly, and approved third-party vendors also list and sell products through the platform — see Vendors on Lizimas Store below for how that works.
These terms are an agreement between you and Lizimas Store. By using the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use Lizimas Store. If you are using the site on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for them.
Placing an order, registering an account, or signing in — including through Google or Facebook sign-in — is treated as acceptance of these terms and of our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
If you sign in through Google or Facebook, we create an account using the name and email address that provider gives us. You can set a password for that account at any time through password reset.
We try to describe and price products accurately, but errors can happen. If we discover a pricing or listing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you before proceeding and you may cancel at no charge.
Prices are shown in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and can change at any time; the price charged is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Product images are for illustration — actual packaging or colour may vary slightly. Availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
Adding an item to your cart is not an order. Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm it — the order confirmation you receive after checkout. A contract of sale is formed at that point, for that order only.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example where a product is unavailable, a pricing error occurred, a payment could not be verified, or we suspect fraud or abuse. Where you have already paid for a cancelled order, we refund it.
You can cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, the returns policy applies instead.
Depending on your order and location, you may be able to pay by mobile money (MTN MoMo or Airtel Money), by card, or cash on delivery. Available methods are shown at checkout.
Mobile money and card payments are processed by our payment providers. Card payments are collected on our provider's own secure payment page — Lizimas Store never sees or stores your card number. We never receive or store your mobile money PIN. See our Privacy Policy for what payment information we do keep.
For cash on delivery, payment is due in full to the delivery agent when your order is handed over.
Delivery is available to the locations shown at checkout. The delivery charge is calculated from your delivery location and is shown before you confirm your order. Delivery timeframes are estimates and depend on your location, product availability and processing time — they are not a guaranteed delivery date unless we state otherwise.
Provide accurate delivery details, including a working phone number. We are not responsible for delayed or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information you provided.
Most items can be returned within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in our full Returns & Refunds Policy, including which categories cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons. Approved refunds are paid using the same method you paid with, unless we agree otherwise with you.
This section is a summary. The Returns & Refunds Policy is the full, controlling version.
Some products are listed and sold by independent vendors approved to sell on the platform, rather than by Lizimas Store directly. Vendor applications go through a review process before any listing goes live, and vendors agree to their own Vendor Policies covering product authenticity, packaging, fulfilment and data handling.
From your side as a customer, ordering, paying, delivery and our returns process work the same way regardless of whether an item is sold by Lizimas Store or by a vendor — Lizimas Store remains your point of contact for the order. Vendors do not receive your name, phone number or delivery address beyond what is needed to prepare and hand over your item.
When you submit a product review, rating, or message to us, you confirm it is honest, based on your own experience, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us a licence to display and use what you submit on the site in connection with the product or your order. We may remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or breaches these terms.

The Lizimas Store name, logo and site design belong to Lizimas Store. Product images, brand names and trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this site grants you any right to use these except to the extent needed to shop with us.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Ugandan law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, Lizimas Store is not liable for indirect losses that are not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for a given order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We may suspend or close your account, or refuse an order, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, provided false information, or used the site fraudulently or abusively. Where possible we will tell you why. You may stop using the site and request account deletion at any time — see Your rights in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any dispute arising from them, or from your use of the site, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as we add new features or payment methods, or to reflect a change in the law. We will post the updated version here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
